The Virginia Copperheads Baseball Club offers a family friendly, development-oriented alternative for those players with the skills and desire to move beyond traditional recreational baseball programs. Our team will play in a variety of games and tournaments appropriate for its makeup.

While we focus heavily on player development, fun is at the heart of what we are about.  If the kids aren't having fun, then we aren't doing our collective job.  We want all our kids to develop the same love for the game that we have.

We seek to be an inclusive organization and we value diversity in all its forms.  Because our 14u team is fully sponsored and families don't pay to participate, we are able to accept players regardless of their socioeconomic status.

The Virginia Copperheads Baseball Club operates its own state-of-the-art facility with year-round 24/7 access. Our players enjoy and benefit from the same technology many MLB teams use to train their players.  The instant feedback and benefits our kids get from devices like Rapsodo Pitching, Rapsodo Hitting, Blast Motion, V-Flex, Driveline TRAQ, etc. significantly enhance and accelerate their individual skill development.

Our head coach, Zack Welch, is a former professional player and makes all game decisions, so there are no "daddy ball" issues with our team.  Zack and another Copperheads coach are both Driveline-Certified pitching coaches.
